Potomac Valley Academy has been such a blessing to our family over the past 13+ years! All 4 of our children have attended PVA from infant through Pre-K and we couldn’t be more pleased with the love & care they received during their early, formative years.
The center is always clean and the classrooms are beautifully organized. The PVA staff works diligently to provide a bright, welcoming environment for the children to grow in and they continue to raise the bar every year with new, engaging activities for the children to enjoy. Most of all, we love that Christ is at the center of all things at PVA, from the biblically-based curriculum to the values & teachings imparted by the PVA staff.
With our youngest child starting Kindergarten in September, it will be bittersweet for us to leave PVA but we are so grateful all our children had the opportunity to learn and thrive in such an enriching & educational atmosphere. My two daughters have been attending PVA for a few years now, aged 2.5 yrs and 4.5 yrs. We have had the pleasure of having experience in all of the classrooms starting from baby all the way up to pre-school and we couldn't be more thankful for the wonderful teachers and staff. Every single teacher has had a special connection with my girls and in turn they have both had and continue to have amazing experiences. The teachers are very aware of where your child is milestone wise and communicates openly in terms of getting them to where they need to be or congratulating their progress. Everyone seems to work really well together under the Director, Chamise Washington, who is equally wonderful and very hands on. We love PVA!

We have been sending our boys to PVA Academy for 2 years, since our youngest’ birth! We are thankful for PVA Academy and the amazing teachers and staff who love the boys, provide exceptional care and teaching with them, and incorporate Jesus into their training and also day to day activities! We cannot thank Ms. Cierra and Ms. Alicia enough. Often times I’m at work- missing my family- and it’s so hot in DC that I just do not want to be there sometimes- and at the exact right time they send a picture on the app and it carries me through the afternoon! I swear they are professional photographers! We are so appreciative of both of them because we know for 100% certainty that Lincoln is in the best hands with them!! They truly care and love him! And the holiday arts and crafts stuff that he brought back to me for my first Father’s Day put me in tears and it’s something I’ll definitely save forever! We could not be more thankful for this program and the amazing staff there! We are truly blessed to have Lincoln at the best possible daycare in the world.  It means the world to us to have Lincoln cared for and loved while his mommy and daddy are working. Our family loves PVA. We have two girls there thriving. Our youngest started when she was 2 years old, and PVA was instrumental with helping her potty train, learn her alphabet, and socialize. Our oldest is now graduating from the program and is more than prepared for kindergarten. The summer schedule has also been amazing - lots of fun activities like water play, magic shows, and live animals to see. Lastly, the staff is amazing—patient, attentive, and most of all loving.

Our daughter has attended PVA for one month now and we are so happy with this program! The team is so friendly and attentive and they utilize the Procare software to keep us informed with pictures of her playing and eating and written updates on bathroom breaks, how much food she had, and activities she's enjoying. Our daughter is happy when we drop her off and when we pick her up. The director keeps families well-informed and is very responsive. We feel very blessed to have such a good daycare option that is affordable, nearby, and so well run!
